The Challenge

As part of a broader integration initiative, seven distinct workstreams had been established under the Chief People Officer, each carrying significant implications for the overall people experience. Central to this effort was the implementation of Workday and a new payroll system, both deemed business critical. While programme status reports indicated green, there was growing concern at the executive level that the change management approach was overly theoretical and not sufficiently grounded in operational readiness. Confidence in Day 1 and Day 1.5 preparedness was low – Org Advisory was engaged to review current state, identify key risks and design and implement the change plan for Day 1 and Day 1.5.
